Crazy good sound

I'm a bit reluctant to give a review of these, because if word gets out what a bargain they are, the prices are bound to go up. These are high quality pickups that sound ridiculously good. Crisp cleans, tight bass, and can growl when you want them to. I spend more on gum in a month than these cost.

Great pickups

Really nice sounding pups - clean, crisp, clear. I put them in a HH Strat that sounded dark and muddy. Now it sounds fantastic.

Classic LP sound on a budget

Hot damn. Let me add to the other reviews in saying that these are great pickups. I dropped them in a regular old Epiphone LP Standard, replacing the stock Alnico Classic pickups. Night and day difference. I run the guitar through a 40 watt tube Blackstar amp, and it just screams Les Paul. I previously had a set Seymour Duncans in this LP (JB/Jazz combo), and although they sounded fine, it didn't sound like a Les Paul. $35!!!

High end pickups

I bought a cheap Epiphone LP Classic with non working pickups. Didn't want to invest much to rehab it so used the Eric Custom Alnico 5 (two wire). I rewired the electronics and added the Eric Custom Alnico 5's and now this guitar rocks. Best sound ever, great tone, loud but you can tell potted well. considering the price this is a true bargain and every bit as good as high end S.D.'s etc. Recommend highly. will shop here again!
